Chassis

Latemodels must resemble contemporary full scale cars racing in “World of Outlaws” and “DIRT” sanctioned

Minimum weight =55 oz.

Wheelbase =9.5″ min, 11″ max.

Must be 2 wheel drive, rear wheel driven.

No straight axel cars allowed, No direct drive
Motor
-
Hobbywing Justock 5 fixed timing motor with maximum timing of 51 degrees.

All motors are subject to disassembly at any given time during an event at the race directors

Wire and turns are subject to be un-wound and examined for correct wire and turns at any time during the event.

All motors will be teched by the ROAR Number values on the posted approved list.
Battery

Any 2 cell hard cased lipo battery may be

No additional batteries are allowed including those used to power receivers or cooling fans.

All batteries will be checked prior to each race to ensure battery voltage is a maximum of 44 volts or less.

No Gyro’s or driving assist devices will be allowed.
ESC

Any Speed Control from the ROAR Approved Non-Timing ESC list

All speedos must be in “blinky” mode during all competition. It is the responsibility of the racer to prove that his ESC is in “blinky”

ROAR Approval for all ESC must be approved on or 30 days prior to an event
Tires

2.2 Buggy tires (Open)

Max wheel diameter: 2.2” front and rear

Bodies
-
Body must be from the DOC approved

Molded portion of body can be longer than 22″ under body support may be added to brace rear quarter panel but must hold in stock position, cannot be flared

No additional wings, flaps, spoilers, wickers, vvents or doohikeys will be

Body may not be altered in any way from its stock ie: shortened, lengthened, narrowed, flared fenders etc.

Front and rear windows may be removed at trim lines but a flat Lexan or similar material deck must be added in cockpit area.

Bodies with add on roofs may leave front and rear windows in or out but roofs must be mounted in stock position.

All four wheel wells must be cut out to appropriate scale dimensions.

Maximum rear deck height from bottom of chassis is 4″

Rear spoiler – maximum chord from body deck is 2.5″ including any
